GitHub reports 46%+ of code is AI-generated. Cursor has 1M+ daily active users. Google DeepMind reports 25%+ of new code at Google is AI-generated. 76% of developers now use AI coding tools. Add support automation, sales outreach, content, QA, deploy, and monitoring, and a lean company is already approaching parity.
What would make me wrong
If by December 2029, no credible industry report shows agent task volume exceeding 30% in any software company segment, this prediction is wrong.
